Working in Newport
Newport placements cluster across Pill, Maindee, Bettws and Ringland. We support both supported accommodation services and residential care environments in the city. Most placements are reachable by foot, bus or short cycle from a central base, so a driving licence is helpful but not required. Newport also sees the highest demand for our waking-night staff, so overnight workers tend to build the deepest placement history here.

Requirements
- ✓ Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health or complex needs
- ✓ Positive behavioural support or trauma-informed practice training (or willingness to complete)
- ✓ Calm under pressure with strong de-escalation skills
- ✓ Comfortable working as part of a small team in a high-support setting
