Working in Carmarthenshire
Carmarthenshire is one of two West Wales counties we cover. Bilingual (Welsh and English) staff are particularly welcome here, especially for placements in Llanelli, Carmarthen and Ammanford. Pay is the same across all our LAs, but Welsh-language proficiency is a recognised competency that can unlock placements not available to monolingual English speakers. A driving licence is preferred given the spread between the three main towns.

Requirements
- ✓ Experience working overnight in care or supported living settings
- ✓ Calm, reliable and comfortable working independently
- ✓ First aid and medication administration training (or willingness to complete)
- ✓ Able to respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism
