Specialist roles for learning disabilities and mental health placements. Pay starts at £14.00/hour, above the Welsh Living Wage floor, reflecting the specialist skill set. Additional training provided.
Working in Cardiff
Cardiff is the largest urban patch we cover. Placements span Cathays, Roath, Splott, Grangetown, Ely and Llanrumney. Multi-agency working is part of the day-to-day here, and we routinely brief staff on the additional reporting and liaison patterns Cardiff Council expects from external agencies. Transport links across the city are strong, so a driving licence is not required for most Cardiff placements.

Requirements
- ✓ Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health or complex needs
- ✓ Positive behavioural support or trauma-informed practice training (or willingness to complete)
- ✓ Calm under pressure with strong de-escalation skills
- ✓ Comfortable working as part of a small team in a high-support setting
